Caroline – a GREAT post (as always!). I can attest to the volume of correspondence these quack medicines customers received. I have a large early-20th-century archive of correspondence from the “CArtilage Company” sent to a single customer over the course of several months. They were relentless! Well done! Cheers, Jim
