Ipecacuanha or as it is now more commonly known Ipecac has fallen out of fashion as a treatment for poisons in the last couple of years. 

This is good thing - apart from anything else it is the stuff of the devil. It tastes like poor quality brandy, once it has taken hold it feels literally like your whole stomach is about to come out of your mouth. You keep being sick even after there&#039;s nothing left in your stomach to throw up except bile. Eventually it stops and you are left feeling like you&#039;ve been kicked in the guts by a horse.</description>
